POSITION SUMMARY:
Sign and seal Contracts and Project Documents as a Professional Engineer.

Independently applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria as related to digital voice, data, and video networks.

Responsible for conceptualizing the initial design approach for a major phase of a large project, or have overall responsibility for the engineering work on a project.

Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates engineering work involving conventional engineering practices but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements.

Provides direction to less experienced engineers or technical support personnel is an on-going substantial component of this position.

Participates in marketing, sales, direct client relationships, and business development efforts.

Directs design work for Outside Plant systems, Central Office TDM voice networks, IP data networks (VoIP, IPTV, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:
Four-year engineering degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Information Technology, or related field at an ABET accredited institution.
5 years experience and a current license as a Professional Engineer in Illinois or the ability to become licensed in Illinois.
