9-1 -1 COST WORKSHEET

The following worksheet have been developed to assist you in estimating the cost of implementing and maintaining a proposed 9-1-1 system. If your municipality and/or county decide to hold a referendum to defray the costs of the proposed system, this worksheet will assist to verify the amount of the surcharge needed. The items listed are those most generally required, other items may be added at your discretion. Your serving telephone company(ies) and vendor(.-3) will be able to provide the needed cost estimates in their respective areas. Please note that if you proceed with the implementation of your 9-1-1 system, the information provided in the worksheet will be utilized in Exhibit 7 of the ICC 9-1-1 application.
